Brett,

Late yesterday afternoon shortly after crossing the MS state line, the
vehicle in front of us clipped a tire/wheel laying in the road
causing it to catapult into the air. As we were crossing a
bridge with an 18-wheeler along side, I had little room to maneuver
the Tundra out of the way. The tire/wheel slammed into the DS
outside rear mirror and DS front window. Fortunately, I was
able to move slightly to avoid the tire from coming thru the front
windshield.

We are extremely lucky the damage is minimal, only the DS front window,
exterior mirror, and DS window panel were damaged.
The tint film on
the window prevented the glass from shattering onto me.

Attached are the pics of the damage (NO body damage to vehicle or cap!).
I have duct taped the window to keep the glass from completely
falling out. To prevent any further glass from falling out, I
also exit the vehicle from the PS side.

I will have estimates done 1st thing tomorrow morning so the repair
work can be completed by end of week.
